The Birth of Gail Force Water Sports: A Story of Innovation and Fun
On a sunny day at Lake Ray Hubbard in Rockwall, Texas, our family was lounging around behind our anchored boat, using an old ski rope and hanging out in our life jackets upside down, when we suddenly had an epiphany! We noticed that we had products for water skiing, tubing, surfing, and more, but nothing specifically for floating and relaxing behind your boat. This “ah-ha” moment sparked our journey in designing and producing the perfect products for floating.Thus, Gail Force Water Sports was born, complete with a patented Float Rope, Saddle Floats, Mattresses, and Cooler Trays – all created to serve a common need for boaters and floaters everywhere. Our focus was on leisure lake products, based on our personal experiences at the lake. When we began selling our products at boat shows, people were thrilled with the designs because they perfectly matched their lake lifestyle.

From Foam to Inflatable: The Birth of the Perfect Water Float
Our love for our foam Saddles ran so deep that we couldn’t bear to leave them behind on vacations. It was then that we realized the need to create an inflatable Saddle Float that offered the same excellent buoyancy as the foam Saddle Pro. After extensive testing and multiple samples, we finally perfected the design and created the Saddle GO – the ultimate floating bar stool, perfect for any aquatic destination!
